Camper Solo Competition

During Session I, Blue Lake will offer students an opportunity to compete in a solo competition. One student will be selected to return to camp to perform with the Blue Lake Festival Orchestra in Session IV as part of the Summer Arts Festival, and will receive a scholarship to return to camp the following year.

Preliminaries will be held in the first week of Session I. Only solos with available orchestral accompaniments will be considered. Students must prepare their solo before coming to camp and bring the piano accompaniment with them.
