Shakespeare & the Elizabethan Theatre

Blue Lake’s International Exchange Program is offering a new  12-day tour of London, England and Paris, France for the summer of 2010:  The tour will include travel to London, England and Paris, France and will include attending performances, studying plays, experiencing the history of the theatre, and seeing many popular sights.  The 20 student and 4 staff  group will stay in hotels throughout the tour. 

Be a part of the 2010 International Study Group Tour:  Shakespeare and the Elizabethan Theatre!

Study the Shakespeare plays you will see performed live in the Globe Theatre and attend exhibitions that take you “inside the Globe”.  See the sights of London by foot, bus, boat, and “the tube”.  Tour Shakespeare’s birthplace home in Stratford-upon-Avon where you will take in all things Shakespeare with an overnight stay.  Enjoy a daytrip into the countryside to see Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, and the beautiful Georgian City of Bath.  Transfer to Paris by Chunnel and spend  several days taking in the sights:  Arc de Triomphe, Tour Eiffel, Notre Dame, Moulin Rouge, Sacre Coeur.  Spend an entire day visiting the Musee du Louvre and Jardin des Tuileries.  No trip to Paris would be complete without a boat trip on the river Seine and a chance to walk, shop, and eat on the Champs Elysees!
