Blue Lake Teams with Ebay to Raise Funds
On-line Auction To Be Held Aug 17-24

Blue Lake is now working with eBay’s Giving Works program. Giving Works allows Blue Lake supporters to list items for sale on eBay and donate 10 – 100% of the final price to Blue Lake.  For instructions on registering an item for sale on eBay and benefiting Blue Lake, log on to www.bluelake.org/ebay.html.

Call for Auction Items

As a partner in the Giving Works program, we are also able to schedule our own eBay on-line auction. Blue Lake is planning to hold its first on-line auction August 17-24  and we are currently soliciting auction items.  Examples of potential donations would include musical instruments, consumer electronics, trips, charters, gift certificates, cars, boats, use of vacation homes or timeshares, memorabilia, or anything that others might find of value. Deadline for donating an auction item is August 1. Minimum retail value of $300 on donated items is suggested.  For a more detailed list of suggested auction items, log on to: www.bluelake.org/auction-donation-suggestions.

How to Bid

Placing a bid during the Blue Lake on-line auction is easy. Simply log on to www.bluelake.org/ebay. From this page you will be able to view all auction items and place your bid exactly as you would on the normal eBay site. Bidding closes at 5:00 p.m. EST on Monday, August 24.
