Program Underwriting

When you sponsor programming on Blue Lake Public Radio, you are accomplishing two things: You are broadcasting your message to a difficult-to-reach and important audience and you are helping to keep this Public Radio Station, with its unique, classical, jazz, NPR format, on the air.

WBLV FM 90.3
With 100,000 watts, WBLV is West Michigan’s most powerful National Public Radio affiliate, reaching 12 Michigan counties and serving listeners in Muskegon, Grand Haven, Holland, Pentwater, Ludington, Big Rapids, and other communities in West Michigan.

WBLU FM 88.9
Located in the heart of Grand Rapids, Michigan's second largest city, WBLU simulcasts WBLV programming and serves the entire Grand Rapids metropolitan area.

WBLV and WBLU are West Michigan's only stations playing Classical Music, with National Public Radio News, Jazz, Garrison Keillor's "A Prairie Home Companion," and other fine programming. Blue Lake Public Radio broadcasts the Metropolitan Opera, the Chicago Symphony, the Detroit Symphony, and is the exclusive station for the Grand Rapids Symphony and West Shore Symphony Orchestra.

As you might expect, Blue Lake Public Radio reaches a discerning, generally more affluent, and well-educated audience. Demographic information about the Public Radio audience is available upon request.

Blue Lake Public Radio is a non-commercial, public radio facility, owned and operated by Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and funded by grants and contributions from national, regional, and local sources, including foundations, businesses, and individual listeners.

Blue Lake Public Radio is committed to enriching life in West Michigan by providing the finest cultural programming available.
