Scholarship Program
Blue Lake’s Scholarship Program offers students
in all arts programs an opportunity to apply for
financial assistance toward their camp tuition. Aid
is also available for gifted campers whose family
income would otherwise prevent participation at
Blue Lake.
How to Apply . . .
for a Blue Lake Scholarship
- Scholarships are limited and awarded based
on the following criteria: Audition or portfolio,
arts instructor recommendations and, in some
cases, financial need. Please open 2010 Scholarship Application. Requirements for auditions and portfolios are
listed on the application.
- Please note that special scholarship opportunities
are available for the following:
Piano:
Arens Piano Scholarships
Winds & Percussion:
Masterworks Scholarships
Tuba & Euphonium:
Falcone Scholarships
Composition: H. Owen Reed Scholarships
Jazz:
Dizzy Scholarships
Applications for these special scholarships have
a March 15th deadline, and detailed audition
requirements are located with each link.
- Please mail the scholarship application, along
with audition/portfolio requirements, to:
Scholarship Office
Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp
300 East Crystal Lake Rd
Twin Lake, Michigan 49457
- You will receive notification of any scholarship
award within three weeks of receipt of your
application. Special Scholarships listed in #2 will
be notified after March 15th.
- PLEASE NOTE: A student receiving a Blue Lake
scholarship is not automatically registered in
a camp session. A Blue Lake camp application
must be completed and sent in with a $200
deposit in order to be enrolled. The camp
application and deposit may be submitted prior
to or after you receive notification of scholarship.
All Blue Lake enrollment is accepted on a first-come,
first-served basis, and a scholarship award
does not guarantee or reserve enrollment for
a student. Only one Blue Lake scholarship per
student/session.
