Office Assistant
Front Office Assistant needed to manage area in an efficient professional manner. This includes but is not limited to greeting and directing guests, operating a multi-line switchboard, sorting mail, and use of office copy and fax machines. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills, computer skills, understanding of purpose, goals, objectives of organization, and be dependable, flexible, and reliable. Previous office experience preferred. Required to wear uniform while on duty.
Food Service
Cook, Dishwasher, and Serving positions available. Work in a professionally operated air-conditioned facility. Gain resume building experience in food service. Pay starting at $7.40 per hour, PLUS end of season bonus. Receive complimentary meals while on duty. Uniforms included. A.M. and P.M. hours, 30 - 50 hours per week.

Camp Store
Store clerks wanted to handle sales at front windows and in store. Must have a positive and pleasant attitude, be willing to help keep store, food service equipment, central park and surrounding areas clean. Position offers flexible work hours. Previous retailing experience preferred. Required to wear uniform while on duty.
Housekeeping
Housekeeping position available for individual with knowledge of cleaning skills to maintain cleanliness in buildings throughout the camp. This includes but is not limited to cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, laundering items, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and washing windows as directed by camp supervisor. Must wear Buildings & Grounds uniform while on duty.
Site Custodian
Site Custodians work with production crew to clean and maintain instructional sites throughout camp, including moving equipment, sweeping, vacuuming, and moping. Must have a current valid driver’s license and be willing to work non-traditional work schedule. Required to wear uniform while on duty.
Transportation
Part-time summer transportation positions are available for motivated, hard-working, enthusiastic individuals who are interested in working in a professional environment. Drivers must be experienced in the transportation field, licensed with CDL, and have an exemplary driving record. Must be willing to work long hours on scheduled days. Blue Lake is looking for flexible, outgoing individuals with positive attitudes. Vehicles (mini-vans) and uniform provided.

Buildings & Grounds
Seasonal position available for individual to help with maintenance of camp properties. Position includes but is not limited to opening and closing camp facilities, daily trash pickup, grounds work (leaf & refuse removal), moving equipment, as well as repairing, cleaning, and maintaining all sites and facilities. Required to wear Buildings & Grounds uniform while on duty.
Camp Bank
Bank Clerk position available for professional individual with basic office skills to serve campers using the camp bank. Position includes but is not limited to collecting and distributing camper monies as necessary, maintaining bank card records, and balancing bank records daily. Required to wear camp uniform while on duty.
Shell Grounds
Groundskeeping position available for professional and conscientious worker with knowledge of landscaping skills and concern for environment. Must be able to handle a leaf blower and other landscaping tools to help maintain overall appearance of Stewart Shell Area. Position includes but is not limited to cutting, trimming, and hauling shrubs, limbs and trees as needed, upkeep of flower beds, fall/early spring cleanup of leaves, refuse removal, raking, and cleaning of the shell seating area and restrooms as needed.
Audio Technician
Work with Blue Lake Public Radio personnel to produce quality recordings of Blue Lake arts festival events. Prior experience in recording and audio required.
Music Library
Work in music library to prepare music folders and teaching materials for campers, faculty, and staff. Musical experience required, clerical or library experience preferred.
Registered Nurse (4 2-Week Residential Positions Available)
Work with the Camp Health Directors to provide a variety of health care services including basic first aid, medication management/ distribution, and evaluation and referral of camper’s for off-camp medical care. Nurses are expected to remain in residence for one camp session, serve office hours daily, and remain on-call (w/ pager) for emergencies. Minimum Certification: Valid Michigan Registered Nurse License w/ Current CPR. *Blue Lake can provide contact information for Michigan Licensing to out of state applicants.
Production Staff (Residential Position)
Assist the Production Manager with maintaining production schedules for Blue Lake's main performance and rehearsal locations. Assist Production Manager with maintenance, scheduling, equipment usage, performer needs, and security, and other concert production logistics on a daily basis.
